Here at Frugl we do our very best to bring you the finest offers and secret finds as often as we can.  Here’s 5 of the best ways to make your weekend a blinder…

‘Tis the season to wrap up warm, get out of the house, kick back and enjoy some of the finest cinema, comedy and partying London has to offer.  Whether you want a giggle, a dance or some obligatory Muppets in your life this week we’ve sniffed out the finest offers available, including award-winning internationally-acclaimed comedians for FREE, tasty BOGOF hot-dogs for £6.50 and a couple of cinematic classics.
Make sure you also enter our competition to beat the January blues with a meal for two at Oldroyd.

EVERY DAY – Buy one Hungerdog get another free in Camden: They might sound like the sort of thing Katniss Everdeen chows down on when she’s not fighting The Man, but these are some of the most succulent, flavoursome sausages in a bun going in London.  Grab one for you and a friend or give in to festive gluttony with this special offer.£6.50 http://www.frugl.com/events/buy-1-hungerdog-get-1-free-4-2015-12-19

soul 60

FRIDAY – Soul of the 60s in Oxford Circus: If you’re more Smokey Robinson than Skrillex, prefer Aretha to Adele and want to party to songs crafted with verses, middles, chorus and smashing horn sections without a wub-wub in earshot, then head to The Phoenix for the finest, best value soul party in town.  Welcome Christmas in with the classiest melodies ever set to vinyl. £5 http://www.frugl.com/events/soul-of-the-60s-2015-12-18

SUNDAY: The Muppets Christmas Carol in Leytonstone: No Christmas would be complete without taking the family to see the greatest film of all time (we are willing to come to blows on this one) and this showing in the wonderfully atmospheric Mission Hall should add some extra festive cheer.  Michael Caine gives a career best performance as the curmudgeonly Scrooge and Kermit the Frog was cruelly overlooked for an Oscar nomination for Best Frog in a Leading Role.  Altogether now: “Bless us all…” £9.70 – £38.80 http://www.frugl.com/events/hitchcocks-home-muppet-christmas-carol

True Romance 1

SUNDAY: True Romance in Oxford Circus: You’re so cool… And you can be the coolest cat in town if you take up our offer to see this trashy Tarantino-penned 90s classic.  It’s got the lot: an incredible soundtrack, Gary Oldman pretending to be a black gangster, Brad Pitt as a useless stoner, a coke-snorting Hollywood producer and Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper’s greatest ever cinematic moment. £10 http://www.frugl.com/events/true-romance-screening

JOhn Gordillo 1

MONDAY: The Good Ship Comedy Club presents John Gordillo in Kilburn: This cracking little independent comedy club always has top quality bills for less than a fiver! Their pre-Christmas show features a man dubbed ‘The Professor of Comedy’ on popular podcast ‘The Comedians’ Comedian’.  As well as being an acclaimed storytelling comic, John is also renowned as an incredible director, having worked with the likes of Eddie Izzard, Dara O’Briain, Shappi Khorsandi and Ross Noble.   We reckon some of their talent has rubbed off on this marvellous performer! £4 http://www.frugl.com/events/the-good-ship-comedy-club-presents-john-gordillo
